Product Designer

Product Designer | Hybrid

We're hiring for a German company with a rich tradition and a focus on future-oriented solutions, specializing in industrial goods and engineering services. This employer is seeking a talented individual to contribute to their innovative shipbuilding division.

The Role

• Create shipbuilding overview plans, particularly general plans, deck plans, and layout drawings

• Support design engineers in the geometric implementation of concepts

• Maintain and structure CAD data, ensuring consistent model standards

• Participate in variant studies by adapting layouts and models

What You'll Need

• Completed training as a technical product designer, technical draftsman, or equivalent

• Several years of experience in shipbuilding, plant construction, or comparable industries

• Experience in creating general plans or complex layout drawings is desirable

• Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and CAD standards

• Knowledge of structured data storage systems

• Basic understanding of technical contexts, ship design, and space allocation
