Data Protection Manager

A leading financial services firm is currently building out its Oversight and Compliance team and is seeking a Compliance Manager to support regulatory risk management across the business.

This role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks while providing clear guidance to business areas on regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with the Data Protection Officer to support GDPR-related controls, carry out compliance monitoring in line with agreed plans, and assist in developing policies and procedures.

The role also involves collaborating with Risk, Information Security, and other second line functions, as well as supporting audits and driving continuous improvement of internal controls.

Candidates should hold a degree in a relevant field and have 2–3 years’ experience in compliance or regulatory roles within financial services or consultancy.

A strong understanding of German and European regulations is required (BAIT, DORA and MiFID II), alongside excellent communication skills in German and English, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.

The salary is up to €105k all in ( up to €85k fixed plus 10-15% bonus)
