ROLE: Data Analyst

LOCATION: Dublin, Perm, Hybrid

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Barden are delighted to be partnering with our Client on a new opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst. This role sits within their Group Commercial Team and will someone with circa 4-5 years’ experience across data storytelling, dashboard development and commercial performance. This role will support strategic decision making by delivering actionable insights through Power BI dashboard reporting, working closely with internal stakeholders across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

The core responsibilities will centre around the following areas, and will evolve depending on the needs of the business:

• Develop, maintain, and optimise interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support commercial decision-making.
• Deliver commercial insights and reporting at a group level, ensuring alignment across all regions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable data solutions.
• Assist in the development of automated reporting processes.
• Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and deep dives to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support the cross-functional taskforce focused on aligning KPIs across regions, contributing to consistency and comparability of commercial performance metrics.
• Ensure data governance and compliance with internal standards.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Power BI and its components (e.g. DAX, Power Query) essential.
• Experience working with large datasets and data modelling.
• Knowledge of SQL, or Python is a plus.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective data visualisations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Commercially minded individual, with a strong understanding of how data and insights drive business performance and decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present insights to non-technical audience.
