What is the opportunity?

We are recruiting for an Information Security Specialist to join our team and work in a skilled, hardworking team to deliver in the growing world of security engineering!

You will be responsible for providing technical and operational analysis, technical support and troubleshooting of selected security controls operated by Security Engineering team. This role will be responsible for deploying and maintaining new technical functionalities that support GIS vision and other new services identified by GIS management.

In This Role, You Will

  • Perform remediation of technical problems and operational tasks as identified by the line manager.
  • Perform engineering support related to various technologies operated by GIS.
  • Support new activates as required and advised by line manager.
  • Actively participate in identifying new solutions and POC testing.
  • Participating in the operation and remediation of technical services as the need arises, including Process Documentation.

What will make you stand out?

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of IT security principles and practices, supported by solid technical knowledge of security systems, controls, and both Windows and Linux enterprise environments. They should have experience providing hardware and software technical support, along with expertise in Active Directory, MFA processes, and Identity and Access Management. This combination of practical technical capability and security understanding will enable them to operate effectively across a broad range of infrastructure and security responsibilities.

Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not vital in order to apply for this role;

  • Hands?'on expertise with CyberArk or similar privileged access management tools.
  • Academic background in Information Technology or information security related disciplines.
  • Certifications in information security fields, eg, CISSP, SSCP etc.

Group Information Security and Resilience (GISR) is a diverse, collaborative team with multiple skillsets. With global cyber threats constantly evolving, the team is essential to protecting one of the Group's most important and valuable assets: Information.

GISR not only protect the security of the Bank but also enable colleagues to develop secure ways of working and to help them manage information security risk.

This is a hybrid role, based primarily at Baggot Plaza, Dublin. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in-person to support collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
