Software Engineer in Test(C++)

Available vacancy in our Daugavpils office: Software Engineer in Test (C++/QT/QM)

Work is available both in the office and remotely or hibrid.

Responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of test and service utilities for manufacturing and R&D.
• Application of computer vision methods (OpenCV) for image and video analysis as part of testing, validation, and alignment processes.
• Participation in the design and evolution of test tool architecture and continuous improvement of existing solutions.
• Close collaboration with RnD and Manufacturing teams to define testing requirements and validation scenarios.
• Support and further development of utilities used in production lines and laboratory environments.

Design and implementation of GUI applications using Qt / QML for:

• Alignment and calibration of production devices, including direct connection to hardware, interaction via various interfaces, reading device parameters, and modifying configuration and operational settings;
• Validation of correct device assembly;
• Functional and regression testing of hardware and software components.

Requirements:

• 1.5+ years hands-on experience in application development using Qt/QML.
• Experience in developing GUI applications for Windows and/or Linux.
• CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins).
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to debug and optimize.
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and take initiative.
• Written and verbal Russian, English, Level B1+

Nice to Have:

• Experience with OpenCV or other computer vision libraries;
• Understanding of software testing principles and hardware–software validation;
• Experience with embedded Linux through personal or hobby projects (e.g. Raspberry Pi, SBC-based systems).
