StrongPoint develops, integrates, and sells technology and software solutions for retail and provides maintenance and support services. The company has 18 offices and unites almost 500 employees in Scandinavia, the Baltics, the UK, and Spain. Approximately five million retail customers use StrongPoint retail technology every day.

The Team:

You will be an integral member of a passionate and collaborative cross-functional team, dedicated to working with cutting-edge products like POS and Self-service systems. The team consists of software professionals, including Product Manager, System Analysts, Quality Assurance engineers, Developers and other experts, in total 10.

The Product:

POS team is developing innovative Retail software suit devices (POS, self-service, mobile) and back office.

What will you do:

· Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Java, Angular, TypeScript and SQL, along with technologies like Linux, GIT, PostgreSQL, Docker

· Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment, ensuring robust and scalable solutions

· Engage in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement to maintain high coding standards

· Implement automated testing and contribute to our CI/CD pipeline to streamline development and deployment processes

· Participate in troubleshooting and optimizing application performance, contributing to the overall system stability and efficiency

· Collaborate with team to understand business needs and ensure our solutions are aligned with company goals and customer expectations

What we expect from you:

· Full-stack expertise (4+ years) in Java, Angular, TypeScript and PostgreSQL development and software architecture

· Experience working with Linux, GIT, Docker

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment

· API & Integration Mastery: understanding of RESTful APIs and handling complex data synchronization between external systems

· Knowledge in designing and working with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL

· Proven ability to solve complex problems and propose innovative solutions

· Excellent teamwork and communication skills

· A continuous learning mindset

· Previous experience in the retail sector is an advantage

· Fluent in Lithuanian & English
