Our client is a well-established and regulated cryptocurrency exchange operating across Europe, Asia and the United States. The company holds multiple regulatory approvals across major jurisdictions and is authorised as a financial institution in Luxembourg, supervised by the CSSF. It was among the first Luxembourg-based organisations to obtain Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) registration.
With a strong international footprint, our client combines institutional-grade standards with the innovation and agility of a fast-scaling digital asset business. The team is entrepreneurial, collaborative and passionate about blockchain technology and the evolving crypto-asset ecosystem.
The Role
Our client is seeking a Product / Project Manager with strong commercial awareness and exposure to institutional markets to support continued growth in Europe.
This position operates across product management, project execution and institutional business development. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives, enhance product capabilities and strengthen the institutional offering.
This is a permanent position based in Luxembourg and requires on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Project Management
- Lead the end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timelines, budget and quality standards
- Translate strategic objectives into clear product requirements, business cases and measurable KPIs
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Compliance, Operations and Sales
- Oversee product enhancements, new feature rollouts and platform improvements
- Monitor product performance and drive continuous optimisation
Strategy & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a central point of coordination between business, technical and regulatory teams
- Convert business and regulatory requirements into structured product initiatives
- Provide structured reporting on progress, risk and performance metrics to senior management
- Collaborate with international teams to ensure alignment of European initiatives with global strategy
Institutional Sales & Growth
- Support the development and enhancement of the institutional client proposition (e.g. brokers, asset managers, funds and corporates)
- Partner with Sales and leadership teams to identify, prioritise and execute institutional opportunities
- Contribute to go-to-market planning for new institutional products and services
- Improve client onboarding journeys and support product customisation where required
- Participate in discussions with institutional counterparties to gather feedback and define requirements
- Monitor market trends and competitor developments within institutional crypto services
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure products and processes are designed in line with applicable regulatory frameworks (including CSSF and VASP requirements)
- Embed compliance considerations into product development and project execution
- Support audit processes, regulatory reporting and risk mitigation initiatives
Profile
Education
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
Experience & Knowledge
Required
- 3–6+ years’ experience in Product Management, Project Management or a related function
- Experience within the crypto-asset sector
- Solid understanding of structured project delivery methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2 or similar)
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional initiatives from concept through delivery
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Highly Desirable
- Exposure to institutional sales, B2B relationships or strategic partnerships
- Understanding of institutional crypto products (trading, custody, liquidity provision, APIs)
- Experience operating within a regulated financial services environment
- Commercial mindset with the ability to link product decisions to revenue outcomes
