Cyber Security Specialist – GRC (Data Security | GDPR Focus)

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 8-10 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We’re looking for a GRC Cyber Security professional with strong expertise in data security and GDPR compliance to join our team in a dynamic, EU-regulated environment. If you’re passionate about protecting sensitive data and driving compliance—this role is for you.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and support data security and GDPR compliance initiatives
• Conduct risk assessments and implement data protection controls
• Define and enforce data classification, DLP, and encryption strategies
• Ensure alignment with ISO 27001, NIST, and EU regulatory requirements
• Support internal/external audits and regulatory reporting
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Legal, and Business teams
• Monitor and report on risk posture, compliance status, and remediation plans

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• 4–8 years of experience in Cyber Security / GRC / Data Security
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and EU data protection regulations
• Hands-on experience with risk management, audits, and compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cloud security, and data protection tools
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
