Junior Data Scientist (Python, Power BI, AI)

UNUNUZI CONSULTING S.L. is looking for a motivated and curious Junior Data Scientist to join our growing team in Madrid.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional who wants to build a career in data science, analytics and artificial intelligence while working on real business challenges.

In this role, you will support the design and development of data-driven solutions for internal and client projects. You will work closely with senior professionals, helping to analyze data, generate insights, build visualizations and contribute to the development of AI-based tools and machine learning solutions.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical thinking, a genuine interest in data and technology, and the motivation to learn fast in a collaborative and hands-on environment. Key responsibilities:

• Assist in data collection, cleaning and preprocessing to ensure high-quality datasets.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights.
• Support the development of predictive models and machine learning solutions.
• Create visualizations, dashboards and reports to communicate findings clearly.
• Collaborate with different teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Contribute to the development of AI tools and internal innovation initiatives.
• Help document processes, methodologies and best practices.
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong interest in data science, analytics and artificial intelligence.
• Good knowledge of Python for data analysis and basic machine learning.
• Good command of Excel and confidence working with data in structured formats.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain ideas clearly.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role is valued, but not required.
• Legal right to work in Spain / EU.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid.
