Cloud Engineer

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Cloud Engineer – Software Digital, Car Cloud Platform Development to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our Software Digital and Connected Solutions team. In this role, you will be part of an empowered and agile product team responsible for designing, developing, and operating cloud platform services that enable a secure, scalable, and high-performing connected vehicle ecosystem.

You will work with cloud-native platforms and DevOps practices, contributing to the continuous evolution of a global cloud platform that supports software development lifecycles and connected services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate, and maintain cloud services and ingress gateways for globally distributed cloud platform clusters
• Work in an agile, cross-functional product team with focus on DevOps, automation, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate closely with Product Owner to ensure correct functionality, estimate complexity, and plan upcoming sprints
• Define, implement, and maintain technical designs in alignment with architectural guidelines
• Act as part of a task-force team supporting business-critical application and infrastructure initiatives
• Ensure platform reliability, security, scalability, and performance
• Contribute to infrastructure and application development across the cloud stack

• CI/CD & Version Control: CI/CD pipelines, Git or similar tools
• Testing: Unit testing and component testing frameworks
• Monitoring & Observability: Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus
• Architecture: Microservices architecture
• Methodologies: GitOps, Scrum, DevOps
• Automation & Scripting: Python

Experience / Background

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or cloud engineering
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong experience and interest in cloud technologies, especially AWS
• Experience with Java, Kubernetes, and service mesh technologies such as Istio is highly desirable
• Passion for both application development and cloud infrastructure, including configuration and operations
• Experience working in agile product teams using DevOps principles
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
