In this role, you will be part of the international HR team based at our headquarters at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.


The Challenge


  • Be the first point of contact for employees and managers in guiding them through our policies, HR processes, administrative tasks, and basic reporting tasks via the Ticket system based on the established agreements.
  • Record and process administrative processes and documents (including drafting letters and contracts) as required in the HR system (Workday) when (re)hiring new colleagues, extending employment contracts.
  • You are jointly responsible for HR administrative support and personnel changes. You have regular consultations with your HR colleagues from Payroll and HR Business Partners, ensuring that changes are processed correctly and promptly.
  • Informing and supporting employees about HR activities, policies, processes, and procedures, and provide administrative support in daily tasks.
  • Onboarding and offboarding of benefits and systems platforms (internal and external), collect information about commuting, work from home allowance and digitally submit changes regarding legal obligations to government agencies.


Who we are looking for


  • HBO work and thinking level and preferably a diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience, with work experience in HR administration; nice addition the knowledge of Dutch, French and Spanish personnel administration.
  • Experience with MS Office programs and an HR information system (Workday)
  • You are administratively strong.
  • Team collaboration; working with others to achieve a goal, as fits Shimano's core values
  • Good command of English language in both spoken and written form, Dutch or French are considered nice additions.
  • Focused on putting the customer first, optimistic, and with high standards and ethics to be determined to go the extra mile.
