Role: FortiGate Network Security Engineer

Location: Södertälje, Sweden

Duration: Contract

Skill Sets:

• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (Fortinet preferred).

• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and policy-based routing.

• Expertise in traffic shaping, QoS, and application-aware routing.

• Familiarity with cloud networking and multi-cloud integration.

• Proficiency in network security technologies (DPI, IPS, SWG).

• Experience in high availability and failover configurations.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

• Knowledge of FortiOS and upgrade processes

Mandatory skills: Fortinet SDWAN

Desired skills:

SD-WAN Configuration & Management

• Configure SD-WAN zones, members, and VPN tunnels.

• Implement advanced routing and failover strategies.

• Set up high availability (HA) and redundancy mechanisms.

• Performance & SLA Management

• Configure and monitor Performance SLA parameters.

• Continuously optimize network performance to reduce latency and improve throughput.

• Traffic Optimization

• Implement traffic shaping and QoS policies.

• Develop and deploy custom application policies to prioritize critical applications.
