Senior Programmer

Engineered Alchemy is a new studio located in Krakow, Poland. We're here to help solve some of the harder problems in game engineering for our partners - we're not just your average development team.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you'll work with our technical leadership to develop solutions to a wide variety of engineering tasks - maybe working with legacy code, porting from older engines, optimising, writing new systems, improving graphics pipelines... or maybe developing game features.

We work on all platforms, mobile, console and PC and we're building a broad multi-discipline engineering-focused team, so experience with front-end Unity and Unreal, graphics programming and backend etc., are all skills we value.

Who are you?

• You have at least 5 years of experience in the games industry

• You love a challenge and you don't get too phased by ambiguity

• You really want diversity in your day-to-day work

• You would consider yourself to be a great engineer, but you know there's room to learn and grow

• You know how to 'check your ego at the door'. We want people that will work together and will rally around the best solution, regardless of where it came from

What can you do?

• Ideally, you are comfortable working in C++ and C#

• If you know Unity, Unreal, Godot, Java, Javascript, Python, Go, React etc., will get you extra points!

• You understand the lifecycle of development and you hold yourself and your team to high standards

• You must have good English. The company language is English and that's how many of our partners communicate with us.

While we are a based on beautiful Krakow, Poland, and would prefer you to be in the vicinity so you can come to the office occasionally, we're open to remote within Europe/UK.
