We’re expanding our engineering operations in the United Arab Emirates and are looking for a Senior Technical Site Engineer to take a key role in supporting mission-critical drone fleet management and UAS traffic management systems.

This is a high-impact, hands-on technical role where you’ll serve as the Tier-3 escalation point, working directly with engineering teams across R&D, DevOps, and Product to ensure reliability, stability, and world-class performance across real-time systems.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as the senior technical point of contact for advanced production issues
• Lead deep-dive investigations using Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana
• Analyze logs, identify root causes, and drive long-term fixes
• Support Kubernetes-based microservices and cloud environments (G42 or AWS)
• Create scripts, automation, and quick hotfixes when required
• Manage local release cycles and deployments across the UAE
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to drive technical improvements
• Represent engineering in customer discussions, demos, and operational events
• Mentor on-site technical staff and help define local support processes

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in Backend Engineering / DevOps / SRE / Tier-3 Support
• Strong experience with Node.js and MongoDB
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ or similar message brokers
• Skilled with observability tooling (Prometheus/Grafana/Kibana)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (G42 preferred, AWS accepted)
• Strong debugging, incident analysis, and scripting ability
• Ability to work independently and manage complex technical scenarios
• Comfortable interfacing with customers and representing engineering teams
• Experience in mission-critical or regulated industries is a strong advantage
