Chief Technology Officer

Summary

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for defining and executing Finance House Group’s technology vision, driving the transition to a cloud native, API driven, and AI powered banking ecosystem. The role enables digital products, scalable platforms, and data driven decision making, positioning technology as a key driver of growth, efficiency, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Architecture

• Define and execute FHG’s enterprise technology strategy aligned with business and product priorities.
• Establish scalable, secure, and modern architecture leveraging microservices, APIs, and cloud native platforms.
• Ensure technology capabilities support innovation, agility, and long term growth.

AI, Data & Enterprise Innovation

• Drive the implementation of AI across IT systems, platforms, and processes, embedding intelligence wherever feasible.
• Enable enterprise-wide AI adoption by building robust technology architecture and infrastructure to support AI solutions teams.
• Establish scalable data platforms to support AI/ML, analytics, and real time decision making.
• Define and implement MLOps, data governance, and model lifecycle management frameworks.
• Partner with business and AI teams to industrialize AI use cases across customer, risk, fraud, and operations.

Engineering & Digital Platforms

• Oversee development and evolution of digital platforms (mobile, web, lending, payments).
• Implement Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices to improve speed, quality, and reliability of delivery.
• Ensure systems are resilient, high performing, and scalable.

Core Systems & Cloud Transformation

• Lead modernization of legacy systems using modular, API led approaches.
• Drive adoption of hybrid/multi cloud infrastructure and platform engineering practices.
• Optimize technology stack for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Establish and enforce enterprise cybersecurity frameworks, including Zero Trust and data protection.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and international standards.
• Strengthen resilience, risk management, and incident response capabilities.

Ecosystem & Open Banking

• Build API platforms to enable fintech partnerships and embedded finance capabilities.
• Support platform based models, including Banking as a Service (BaaS).

Leadership & Governance

• Lead and develop high performing technology, engineering, and data teams.
• Manage budgets, vendor ecosystem, and technology investments.
• Establish governance across architecture, delivery, security, and data.

Strategic Technology Priorities

• Establish a cloud native, API first technology foundation.
• Build enterprise data platforms enabling real time insights and decision-making.
• Scale AI adoption across the organization through strong IT architecture and infrastructure enablement.
• Enable intelligent automation and AI driven productivity tools.
• Advance digital platforms with embedded personalization and real-time decisioning.
• Expand ecosystem integrations and open banking capabilities.
• Strengthen cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory alignment.
• Explore and implement emerging technologies such as blockchain, embedded finance, and digital identity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a CTO or senior technology leadership role.
• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud, AI/ML, and digital platforms.
• Experience in banking or financial services transformation.
• Strong business and strategic acumen with the ability to align technology with growth objectives.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience, including 8+ years in senior leadership roles.
