Data Owner & Engineer - CRM & Marketing

We’re looking for a Data Engineer & Owner - CRM & Marketing to join Telia.

We are seeking a data engineer who can bridge data and business to strengthen our Commercial Development organization. You will be part of a high-impact analytics team working with customer-centric, data-driven initiatives to drive growth in the consumer market.

What you’ll do:

• Own and structure the marketing data domain (customer profiles, lifecycle stages, campaign interactions)
• Build and maintain reliable data pipelines that enable activation and personalization
• Ensure segments, triggers, and audiences are accurate and available for CRM use cases
• Work closely with CRM and marketing teams to translate business needs into data solutions
• Enable measurement of campaigns and customer journeys (e.g., A/B testing, control groups, attribution)
• Identify and drive improvements in data models, pipelines, and martech setup
  
  

What will help you succeed:

• 3+ years experience in data or martech engineering, ideally in a CRM/marketing context
• Strong SQL skills and solid experience with Python. Ability to learn niche tools like Dataiku quickly.
• Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, dbt)
• Experience working with complex datasets and data models across multiple systems
• Understanding of customer journeys, campaigns, and personalization
• Strong analytical mindset and experience working with performance measurement
• Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between commercial objectives and technical solutions, making complex concepts easy to understand.
• Greenfield Mindset: Comfortable building documentation, naming conventions, and "ways of working" for a marketing domain from scratch.
• Proactive and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership
