Hiring: Senior Cloud Engineer (Grade 5) | Azure + AliCloud | Singapore (Onsite)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in Singapore (onsite role). This role requires strong expertise in Azure and AliCloud platforms, with hands-on experience in cloud networking, security, and Kubernetes-based environments.

Key Skills Required

• Azure: Firewall, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway (AGW), AKS
• Azure Data: Azure SQL, SQL Managed Instance
• AliCloud: Firewall, Express Connect, NAT Gateway, ACK, RDS
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and governance

Key Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point (L3 SME) for Azure and AliCloud platforms
• Troubleshoot complex hybrid connectivity issues
• Manage AKS & ACK cluster lifecycle (deployments, upgrades, scaling)
• Optimize cloud cost, performance, and resource utilization
• Review and enhance firewall, routing, and network configurations
• Ensure security compliance, governance, and audit readiness
• Validate disaster recovery (DR) and failover strategies
• Coordinate vendor escalations with cloud providers
• Mentor and guide L2 Cloud Engineers
• Support automation and DevOps initiatives

• Resolve complex cloud incidents
• Lead Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management
• Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives
• Execute DR drills and validation
• Manage vendor escalations

Scope of Word

• Cloud infrastructure design, provisioning, and maintenance
• Monitoring, performance tuning, and cost optimisation
• Security implementation and compliance management
• Backup and disaster recovery planning
• Cloud migration support (on-prem → cloud)
• Application deployment via CI/CD pipelines
• Capacity planning and workload optimization
• End-to-end L1/L2/L3 cloud support

Ideal Candidate

• 8–12+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure roles
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure + AliCloud (must-have)
• Expertise in Kubernetes (AKS/ACK)
• Proven experience in hybrid cloud environments
• Strong stakeholder communication and troubleshooting skills
