Machine Learning Investment Analyst

We are partnering with a leading global asset management firm to hire an Investment Analyst with strong data and machine learning capabilities to support an active investment team in Singapore.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with portfolio managers in a highly collaborative environment, combining hands-on investment support with applied modelling and data-driven insights.

• Build, maintain, and enhance predictive models to support investment decision-making across asset classes
  
• Work closely with portfolio managers and analysts to generate data-driven insights and support idea generation
  
• Develop and manage datasets, including sourcing, cleaning, and structuring financial and alternative data
  
• Support ongoing model monitoring, validation, and refinement
  
• Contribute to workflow optimisation and automation of investment processes
  
• Assist with day-to-day investment team activities, including analysis, reporting, and documentation
  
  
  

• 2-5 years of experience in a quantitative, data science, or investment-related role
  
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and SciPy
  
• Familiarity with financial markets and investment concepts (e.g. equities, macro, or multi-asset strategies)
  
• Experience building and training predictive models on real-world datasets
  
• Exposure to data pipelines and working with structured datasets (SQL or similar)
  
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  
  
  

• Experience working within an asset manager, investment bank, hedge fund, or fintech environment
  
• Familiarity with financial data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, FactSet)
  
• Exposure to time series modelling, signal generation, or portfolio analytics
  
• Postgraduate qualification in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering)
  
  
  

• Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to work closely with investment professionals
  
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical outputs into practical insights
  
• Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
