Junior Java Developer

BeaconFire is based in Central NJ, specializing in Software Development, Web Development, and Business Intelligence; looking for candidates with a strong background in Software Engineering or Computer Science for a Java / Software Developer position

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot
• Build RESTful APIs / Microservices with Spring MVC & Spring Boot
• Implement business logic, validations, and workflows
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Integrate with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.) using JPA / Hibernate
• Handle exception management, logging, and error handling

Backend & Framework Skills

• Use Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC
• Implement Spring Data JPA for persistence
• Work with Spring Security (JWT, OAuth2, role-based access)
• Develop and consume REST APIs (JSON/XML)
• Implement microservices architecture

Compensation:

$65,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
