Product Manager – Agentic Commerce Platform
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support the continued growth an agentic commerce platform that enables product discovery and purchasing directly on AI agent surfaces. This role is a backfill and will partner closely with engineering, external LLM partners, and internal GTM teams to drive platform integrations, API development, and feature delivery across web and mobile experiences.
This platform enables merchants to surface their product catalogs, pricing, cart, checkout, and payments directly within LLM-powered experiences (e.g., Gemini), allowing end users to discover and purchase products without leaving the agent interface.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with external LLM partners (e.g., Gemini, Meta, and other AI platforms) to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into clear product and API specifications
- Own requirements definition for server-to-server APIs supporting catalog ingestion, product discovery, cart, checkout, and payment workflows
- Work closely with engineering scrum teams to refine the product backlog, plan and execute sprints, and deliver new platform features
- Ensure end-to-end delivery by supporting feature testing, monitoring, and post-launch validation to ensure reliability and performance
- Build on top of existing API specifications, ensuring integrations align with partner needs and internal architectural standards
- Collaborate with GTM and marketing teams to support feature launches and ensure internal and external stakeholders understand new capabilities
- Lead the creation of external-facing documentation, including integration guides that clearly explain supported functionality and data interactions
- Walk external partners (e.g., major commerce or platform partners) through integration guides at both a high level and detailed workflow level
- Support ongoing merchant orchestration and onboarding, including catalog ingestion and backend system integrations (ERP, inventory management, payments)
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager working on technical products or platforms
- Strong experience working directly with APIs, including the ability to explain how APIs fit into end-to-end workflows
- Proven experience partnering with engineering scrum teams to deliver features through agile development cycles
- Comfortable engaging with external partners to understand business context, gather requirements, and assess feasibility
- Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation for external audiences
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Background in commerce or platform products, including familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Adobe Commerce, or Wix
Nice to Have / Plus
- Experience supporting mobile products in addition to web platforms
- Prior exposure to AI, LLM-powered products, or agent-based user experiences
- Familiarity with payments, checkout flows, and merchant onboarding processes
What You’ll Work On
- Enabling product discovery and purchasing directly within AI agent experiences
- Powering catalog ingestion, pricing, cart, checkout, and payments via scalable APIs
- Supporting partnerships with leading AI and commerce platforms
- Building infrastructure that allows merchants to integrate seamlessly with AI-driven commerce surfaces
Compensation: $50-$55/hour
