JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Digital Transformation Senior Officer who brings together strategic transformation capabilities with hands-on experience in application development. This hybrid role is ideal for a professional who can lead digital change initiatives, while also supporting in designing, developing, and deploying web and ERP solutions to drive business modernization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving technology-enabled transformation programs, coupled with strong programming skills, system integration experience, and a solid understanding of enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Transformation Strategy & Execution
- Contribute to the development and execution of the organization’s digital transformation roadmap.
- Identify opportunities to optimize business processes through automation, digitization, or technology enablement.
- Evaluate digital platforms and AI solutions (e.g., chatbots, predictive analytics, NLP tools, generative AI) and support implementation in line with business priorities.
- Work with leadership to ensure transformation initiatives align with strategic goals and operational priorities.
Application Development & Integration
- Support the design, develop, test, and deploy web applications and ERP modules using modern frameworks and programming languages.
- Assist in building or customizing features on platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Collaborate with backend and frontend developers to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, and automation tools into enterprise systems
AI Use Case Discovery & Innovation Enablement
- Collaborate with business units to identify high-impact AI use cases across operations, customer service, HR, marketing, and other areas.
- Support AI proof-of-concept (PoC) design, testing, and scaling for automation, personalization, or forecasting initiatives.
- Help define success metrics, training data needs, and ethical considerations for AI-enabled solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform AI adoption and innovation planning.
Project Management
- Lead and execute transformation projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.
- Manage cross-functional project teams spanning business, IT, operations, and vendors.
- Define project scopes, objectives, milestones, and KPIs.
Business Analysis
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies or improvement areas.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder workshops, interviews, and workflow reviews.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT and development teams.
- Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies.
Application Oversight & Digital Solutions
- Support the planning, design, and implementation of new digital applications and platforms.
- Oversee application lifecycle management, including user requirements, vendor coordination, testing, and rollout.
- Ensure digital platforms meet business needs and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with IT and technical teams to manage enhancements, feedback loops, and user adoption.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
- Serve as a liaison between business users, IT, and leadership to ensure alignment across digital projects.
- Lead change management efforts to support successful technology adoption.
- Develop training plans, user guides, and communication strategies to support transformation initiatives.
- Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and decision-makers.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in digital transformation, project management, or business analysis.
- Experience delivering AI-enabled or data-driven solutions as part of transformation programs.
- Proven ability to lead medium-to-large-scale digital or IT transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle ERP, etc.).
- Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Visio)
Preferred Certifications:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) *
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or other Business Analysis certifications
- AI/ML certifications from recognized providers (e.g., Google AI, Microsoft AI Engineer, IBM AI, or Coursera/edX)
- Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR)
- Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Oracle ERP.
