Role: Hands and Feet Engineer

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine– Onsite

Duration: Contract

Note: Need basis

Job Description :

Unpacking devices (server, router, switch firewall, load balancer etc). Perform inventory verification.

Perform site survey, prepare report, diagram, inventory sheet

Assemble mobile modular router and ION switch referring the installation guide and rack mount

Identification of devices like servers, in racks or storage room and bring the same to racks or installation rooms (if required)

Physical installation of network devices etc (includes power connectivity from device to power sources)

Laying and connecting cables with devices (CAT-6, Fibre etc), like servers to switches etc

Configure management ports of servers (e.g iLO for HP servers), enclosures, storage boxes etc and enable remote access (parameters shall be provided by client )

Carry console cable for Cisco, HP, Alcatel-Lucent, Fortinet, Perform POST, basic configuration of network gears and bring it accessible from remote

Carry all required tools for rack mounting/unmounting device, unpack boxes

Adhere proper trash management at the site and keep the IT room clean

Packing of devices in case of decommission and shifting etc

Uncracking of network gears (router, switch, firewall) enclosure or other devices

Cabling between the devices, racks (Fiber, copper)

Familiar with network devices and components like, SFP, fiber, multimode, single, mode, patch panel, etc

Having hands on knowledge of installation of devices in rack, using front and rear brackets, using rack rails etc

Perform cable dressing inside rack

Should have basic understanding of network devices and components, fibres, SFPs, etc

Labelling of devices and cables etc

Perform test Image laptop (H&E should carry the same).

H&E should be equipped with dedicated internet connection, laptop, headphone, join bridge , follow instruction, share screen

This is a Need basis contract ( Whenever there will be work our client will inform you before 2 days based on that you need to be onsite at clients office for this client

There will be Rotational shifts and you need to support our client 24/7 shifts accordingly
