The Digital Health organization is Healthcare technology team focused on next generation Digital Health capabilities which deliver on the Healthcare mission and vision to deliver Insight Driven Care. 

This role will operate within the Digital Health Applications & Interoperability subgroup of the broader Digital Health team, focused on patient engagement, care coordination, AI, healthcare analytics & interoperability amongst other advanced technologies which enhance our product portfolio with new services, while improving clinical & patient experiences.    

Requirements

• Requirements Definition: Strong requirements definition skills, including defining and writing user stories, leading refinement with developers/testers, clear acceptance criteria
• Documentation: Experience managing quality documentation, maintaining versioned documentation, creating clear and relevant application documentation
• Functional Specifications: Functional Specifications, including integrations between mobile app(s) and backend services
• Data Visualization requirements
• Endured alignment of requested functionality to mobile best practices and Medtronic brand guidelines
• Agile Software Development: Experience working on an Agile development team, specifically developing epics, stories, acceptance criteria and contributing to all traditional scrum ceremonies
• Mobile Platform(s): Working experience with mobile applications, specifically native Android / Kotlin applications Strong understanding of Android frameworks as well as app deployment processes
  
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, HealthKit, ResearchKit, etc…
• Knowledge of Apple design principles and guidelines
• Experience with iOS deployment and app distribution processes
• Previous Healthcare or Medical Device experience
• Experience with AWS data technologies, including S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Athena
• Experience working with Healthcare Data, including HL7v2, FHIR and DICOM
• Experience designing software classified as Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
• Experience implementing enterprise grade cyber security & privacy by design into software products
• Experience developing global applications
• Previous experience with structured and unstructured healthcare data

Job responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements
• Requirements elicitation
• Requirements analysis
• Translate business requirements to technical software requirements
• Interact with internal and external customers to validate business flows
• Follow documentation guidelines
• Analyze, design, prioritize, and implement a set of IT products, platforms, and services
• Lead feature definition and prioritization for a mobile application development team
• Develop, maintain and update comprehensive documentation of Digital Health mobile re-usable capabilities
• Document feature requests, including acceptance criteria in alignment with product roadmap
• Collaborate with developers to design and implement mobile capabilities
• Engage with business partners to understand their needs and ensure product delivery addresses key needs
• Collaborate with project managers to meet project commitments and timelines
• Provide guidance and input to developers to refine stories and ensure development meets requirements
• Lead refinement sessions and ensure tickets are clear, concise and developers understand intention of the functionality requested
• Work directly with QA engineers to answer questions and prove out requirements through testing
• Actively participate in sprint ceremonies, including stand ups, demos, and retrospectives
• Provide program leadership in updates to stakeholders and IT leadership
• Collaborate with teams across Global IT including GSO, Privacy, Cloud Platform Solutions, Regulatory, and Quality
