You stop writing code and get stuck in meetings...

This role isn’t that...

What will you be? You'll be a hands-on Lead Software Engineer, you'll get to influence architecture with other Leads and Architects and help junior engineers improve, without stepping away from coding.

Engineering Managers handle the people management side of things.

Your focus will be on building software, solving problems and shaping the direction of the platform.

You’ll be working on a product-led platform that has processed over £2B+, so performance, reliability and scalability matter.

The work is a mix of greenfield development and improving existing systems, giving you real input into how the platform evolves.

Tech stack:

• .NET / C# (.NET 8+)

• AWS (any cloud experience welcome)

• SQL

You’ll be working with a solid team of engineers who care about clean code, good architecture and building systems properly, not just closing tickets.

If you want a role where you stay close to the code but still influence technical direction and the product roadmap, this is the role for you.

Also flexability is massive here, if you have school runs, hobbies outside of work, that is no problem. They can accommodate it.

The money is great too, circa £95K + benefits.
