Your Mission

As a Product Designer at Propeller, you’ll join our Drone and Processing squads to lead the design of some of our most technically ambitious features including our Hand Held and 360 scanning apps. This is a role where you'll shape early-stage products from the ground up and make key decisions on how a product looks and feels when its used by our customers.

You’ll work closely with engineering and product, designing experiences at the intersection of software and hardware. We’re looking for curious designers who enjoy understanding the ‘why’ behind what they build, with the autonomy to run research, shape product direction, and explore tools like AI to improve their workflow.

Your Responsibilities

• You will lead end-to-end design for early stage product features and mobile experiences.
• You will shape next-level user flows and systems alongside our engineers, product experts, and customer teams.
• You will conduct independent user research and synthesise insights to drive product strategy and adoption.
• You will champion continuous product polish and maintain consistency within our established design system.
• You will leverage AI tooling and vibe coding for rapid prototyping and minor UI/UX updates.
  
  

Your Skills

• You have 2+ years of experience working on a technical product, with a record of designing solutions for complex software problems.
• You’ve worked in embedded product squads and feel comfortable communicating with engineers and PMs alike.
• You’re experienced in building out delightful mobile first solutions and can approach design from a system level perspective.
• You’re passionate about connecting with customers to conduct research, gather feedback and make a difference to their work.
• You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can navigate the ever changing world of AI, Construction technology and our technical fields.
