Software Engineer

I am currently partnering with a leading IT consulting company that is shaping the digital future of industrial companies within the Digital Supply Chain sector. They are looking for a Software Engineer to join their team in Vienna.

This is a "Medior" level role perfect for someone looking to take on functional leadership in a high-growth environment focused on cloud and AI innovation.

Job title: Software Engineer

Location: Vienna (Hybrid / Alternating between office and home office)

Salary: €3,843 gross per month (Minimum) + performance bonus (higher salary possible based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Project Lifecycle: Participating in challenging cloud and SAP projects from initial architecture and implementation through to go-live.
• Technical Leadership: Taking on lead developer responsibilities for specific streams or development teams.
• Workshops & Presentations: Moderating workshops and presenting technical solution approaches to management and project stakeholders.
• Innovation: Contributing to technological advancements and product developments, particularly in Cloud and AI.

Skills & Experience Required

• Development Background: 3+ years of experience in cloud-based software development using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Technical Stack: Experience with SAPUI5 and ReactJS is highly advantageous.
• Education: A completed technical degree.
• Language: Very good English and German language skills (minimum B2-C1 level).
• Leadership Ambition: Initial experience in functional leadership with the drive to take on more technical responsibility.
