Data & Analytics Lead

We’re a well-established agency with over 15 years of experience, working with leading Slovenian and international clients. We are looking for a Data & Analytics Lead with over 5 years of experience to take on a key role in our team. We’re looking for someone who is precise, data-driven, and ready to explore emerging technologies like AI and modern approaches to zero-party data.

This position involves setting up and managing analytics tracking, conducting audits, and delivering actionable insights to help guide decision-making. The role requires working closely with developers and marketing teams to ensure data is collected, analyzed, and used effectively. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to developing innovative data solutions and tools.

What will you be doing as a Data & Analytics Lead?

Analytics Tool Implementation

• Set up tools and integrations via Google Tag Manager (GTM), including GA4, Google Ads, Meta, Bing, LinkedIn, HubSpot, and Hotjar.
• Configure and manage tracking systems like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Matomo and Plausible.
• Implement conversion tracking across multiple platforms.
• Configure Enhanced Conversions for Google Ads to optimize tracking accuracy.

Audits & Insights

• Conduct analytics audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
• Create and manage measurement plans to align tracking with client and business goals.
• Analyze data and generate clear, actionable reports for stakeholders.

Collaboration

• Work with developers to implement advanced tracking and data integration solutions.
• Partner with marketing teams to align analytics with campaign and business goals.
• Support client meetings by providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Cookie Management & Compliance

• Implement and manage CMP tools such as Cookiebot to ensure compliance with GDPR and other privacy regulations.

Innovation & Product Development

• Contribute to the creation of new data tools and products.
• Explore and integrate emerging technologies like AI to improve analytics workflows and solutions.

What sets you up for success?

• 5+ years of experience in analytics roles.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Google Ads, Meta, Bing, LinkedIn, HubSpot, and Hotjar.
• Expertise in platforms like GA4, Matomo, and Plausible, as well as GTM.
• Proficiency in creating Looker Studio reports and custom GA4 dashboards.
• Troubleshooting expertise in tracking, conversions, and audience setups.
• Experience implementing cookie compliance tools like Cookiebot.
• In-depth knowledge of zero- and first-party data strategies, including collection, management, and utilization for analytics and marketing purposes.
• Precise and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable working across teams and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach to challenges.
• Interest in emerging technologies, especially in AI, and analytics innovation.
• Proficiency in Slovenian and English.
