Role Overview:

As an Embedded Linux Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of robust, high-performance embedded platforms powering next-generation energy systems.

You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, contributing to system architecture, low-level development, and optimisation of embedded solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customise, and maintain Embedded Linux systems (Yocto / Buildroot)
• Perform low-level programming in C/C++ for embedded environments
• Work on Linux kernel development, device drivers, and board support packages (BSPs)
• Support board bring-up, hardware integration, and system validation
• Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and system engineering teams
• Troubleshoot and debug complex embedded system issues

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Embedded Linux development
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Solid understanding of Linux internals and kernel space
• Experience with Yocto and/or Buildroot
• Hands-on experience with device driver development and debugging
• Familiarity with ARM-based architectures
• Experience with cross-compilation, toolchains, and debugging tools (e.g. GDB)
