Assistant Project Manager – Fit-Out (Dublin City Centre)

We are currently working with a leading Main Contractor delivering a large-scale, high-spec fit-out project in Dublin City Centre. Due to continued growth on this project, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Project Manager to support delivery on site.


This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced project environment and gain exposure to complex commercial fit-out works.


The Role

Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the coordination and administration of the project, with a strong focus on document control, technical coordination and subcontractor management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and track technical submittals, ensuring all documentation is submitted, reviewed and approved in line with programme requirements
  • Raise, monitor and close out RFIs, ensuring clear communication between design team, consultants and site team
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely submission of drawings, samples and technical documentation
  • Maintain and update project documentation through systems such as Procore, Viewpoint or similar
  • Assist in programme tracking and progress reporting
  • Support the Project Manager in day-to-day project coordination
  • Attend site and design team meetings, recording key actions and driving follow-ups
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards
  • Liaise with internal teams (commercial, design, site) to ensure smooth project delivery


Requirements

  • 2–5 years’ experience in a construction/project coordination or assistant PM role, ideally within fit-out
  • Strong experience managing submittals and RFIs is essential
  • Experience using project management systems such as Procore, Viewpoint, Aconex or similar
  • Good understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
