About The Role

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer who can bridge complex user needs with elegant, functional solutions — and who also wants to contribute to telling WellD's story externally through marketing and brand communication activities.

You will work on mission-critical projects with direct impact on our clients' success, with opportunities to lead design strategy, mentor peers, and shape how WellD is perceived on the market.

Where you’ll work

Our office is in the heart of Milan, in the Isola/Garibaldi district, easily accessible by public transport. We work primarily remotely and meet in the office for planning sessions, pair working, and team building. Availability to travel occasionally to Switzerland is required.

What Tools We Use

Our design ecosystem is centered around Figma (including FigJam) for prototyping and collaboration. We use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for specific visual assets. On the delivery side, we often work with WordPress (Elementor) for web projects, and collaborate closely with developers.

How We Conceive UX/UI

We apply a Design Thinking approach throughout our client engagements, embedded in cross-functional Agile teams. Our process covers:

• Requirements gathering and stakeholder analysis
• User mapping and user research
• Low-fidelity wireframing through high-fidelity interactive prototyping
• Design-to-development handoff with a focus on technical feasibility
  
  

We actively embrace AI as an integral part of our design workflow — both as a creative thinking partner during UX research, ideation, and decision-making, and as a hands-on tool for the production of design artefacts such as visual assets, prototypes, and communication materials.

To Whom We Deliver

Our clients are well-established companies in the Energy, Industrial, Fintech, and Health sectors. Everyday we face real-life challenging requirements and are asked to make a difference, designing solutions at the highest level of engineering and user experience. We also manage internal product-centered projects where UI/UX plays a central, strategic role.

What You'll Do

Design & Product

• Lead the end-to-end design process for complex software products, from discovery to final handoff
• Collaborate with Product Owners and engineers to translate business requirements into intuitive user journeys
• Create and maintain scalable Design Systems to ensure visual and functional consistency across projects
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design hypotheses and iterate based on data
• Bridge design and development, ensuring the final implementation matches the intended experience
• Advocate for a user-centric culture within the company
  
  

Marketing & Communication

• Define and maintain WellD's visual brand guidelines across all digital and physical touchpoints
• Design communication materials: institutional presentations, one-pagers, proposal and client-facing templates
• Manage WellD's visual presence on social media (primarily LinkedIn) through graphic content and visual storytelling
• Collaborate on Tech Blog content: layouts, infographics, and visuals supporting technical articles
• Support the visual communication of events (meetups, workshops, conferences such as Voxxed Days)
• Contribute to recruiting materials and employer branding initiatives
  
  

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in complex B2B or industrial contexts
• A solid portfolio that showcases your design process, not just the final result
• Mastery of Figma and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for visual asset production
• A mature aesthetic sensibility applicable to both digital products and brand communication
• Understanding of frontend constraints (HTML/CSS) — a strong plus
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and how design integrates into sprint cycles
• Ability to defend design choices with data and logical reasoning
• Continuous curiosity and a desire to improve in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Fluency in both Italian and English, written and spoken
• Availability to travel to Switzerland
