Accountant

Currently, we are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance Team in Riga!

Main responsibilities

• Providing support to the Chief accountant in the preparation of management and financial reports;
• Processing, recording, and control of accounting documentation;
• Accounting, monitoring, and reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable;
• Monthly preparation, calculation, and issuance of outgoing invoices;
• Processing of invoices, reports, and bank documents in the financial accounting system 1C;
• Communication with clients, including control of accounts receivable;
• Reconciliation of settlements with the company's cooperation partners;
• Accounting of business trip expenses and advance settlements;
• Accounting of fixed assets.

Requirements

• Previous experience in financial accounting (experience in FinTech, iGaming, or international companies will be highly valued);
• Knowledge of Latvian tax laws and regulatory acts governing accounting;
• Excellent knowledge of Latvian and English (for communication with clients and partner companies outside of Latvia);
• Ability to work in English on a daily basis (internal company language);
• High sense of responsibility, ability to work independently, attention to detail, and excellent cooperation and communication skills;
• Excellent skills in MS Office, especially Excel, and desirable experience with 1C or Microsoft Dynamics.
