Role: GoLang Developer

Location: Remote, Portugal

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years in designing, developing, and maintaining a Golang based backend managing large scale device fleets.
  • Build and evolve distributed, microservices based architectures deployed on Kubernetes (K8s).
  • Configure and manage networking features through backend APIs, including: OSPF routing, Virtual Tunnel Interfaces (VTI), IPsec VPNs
  • Implement secure, token based authentication and communication between backend and devices (JWT, OAuth2, mTLS).
  • Process SNMP traps for real time monitoring, alerting, and device observability.
  • Handle high throughput asynchronous events using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, and resilience of backend services.
  • Optimize network traffic handling, logging, and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and/or ELK stack.
  • Implement automated provisioning and configuration management for gateway devices.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps teams on infrastructure automation, including Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests.
  • Develop Python based performance and monitoring tools for backend and device communication analysis.
  • Design and execute large scale load and performance tests using Locust, simulating thousands of devices and concurrent users.
  • Integrate performance and load testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
  • Contribute to AI powered reporting and analytics, supporting intelligent analysis of performance metrics and system behavior.
