Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to become a core member of our team and take real ownership of customer outcomes. You will work directly alongside senior engineers on enterprise projects, growing quickly into someone our customers and teammates rely on. This is a well-paid remote role you can do from anywhere.

About the role

This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role where no two days look the same. You will work closely with our senior engineers on infrastructure, identity, and security projects for enterprise customers, picking up tasks quickly, communicating clearly, and delivering work you are proud of. We move fast and care deeply about the quality of what we ship.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of customer requests end-to-end, from understanding the requirement to delivering a solution.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, as well as on bare-metal and VPS environments.
• Provision, harden, and maintain Linux servers at a high level of expertise.
• Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles to automate infrastructure configuration and deployments.
• Deploy and maintain identity and access management solutions based on Keycloak, including OIDC, SAML, and OAuth2 integrations.
• Configure and manage enterprise identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID.
• Assist with security reviews and document findings and recommendations.
• Participate in customer meetings, communicate progress clearly, and manage expectations professionally.
• Be available for an on-call rotation, though call volume is expected to be low.

Your profile

• Deep, hands-on Linux expertise
• Strong Ansible experience. Writing playbooks and roles from scratch, structuring inventories, and keeping automation clean and maintainable.
• 2-5 years of experience with any major cloud provider (AWS and/or Azure preferred).
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tooling.
• Solid understanding of modern identity protocols (OIDC, SAML, OAuth2) and hands-on experience with Keycloak or similar identity providers.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including federation, app registrations, and conditional access.
• 2-3 years of experience in infrastructure and network security, including operating system hardening.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, implementation, and maintenance.
• Excellent English, both written and verbal.
• Strong customer orientation: you listen carefully, communicate proactively, and follow through.
• Someone who takes initiative, moves quickly, and delivers clean work without needing to be micromanaged.

Nice to have:

• BSc or MSc in a relevant IT field.
• Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Automation and scripting skills (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
• Security certifications (Security+, AWS Security Specialty, AZ-500).
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
• Experience with threat modeling or threat hunting techniques.
