Occupational Health and Safety Technician

Qualifications

• Possession of a C Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate.
• Preferably graduated from associate degree programs such as Occupational Health and Safety, Mechanical, Electrical / Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive, Industrial, Metallurgy, or other relevant technical departments.
• Field experience in manufacturing plants or companies classified as hazardous workplaces is preferred.
• Willing to work actively in the field and able to adapt to production and operational environments.
• Able to conduct active safety inspections in production areas and having no health conditions that would prevent working in the field.
• Strong observation skills, effective communication abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Able to establish effective communication with contractors and production teams.
• Strong discipline in reporting and documentation processes.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Suitable for shift-based working systems and able to work night shifts when required.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular occupational health and safety inspections in production areas and identify potential risks.
• Perform active field monitoring to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety rules and company procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with contractors and production teams to ensure safe working practices.
• Prepare and maintain safety reports, records, and documentation related to field activities and inspections.
• Support the implementation of occupational health and safety procedures and instructions in daily operations.
• Participate in field safety evaluations and improvement activities to enhance workplace safety standards.
