About the role

What you’ll be doing

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing. Strong experience in mobile automation using Appium (Android & iOS).
• Proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript (based on company tech stack). Hands-on experience with: Selenium WebDriver Appium Inspector XCUITest / UIAutomator2 (good to have).
• Experience testing builds via APKs / IPAs, and mobile debugging tools (ADB, Xcode logs).
• Solid understanding of mobile gestures, screen synchronization, deep linking, and push notifications testing.
• Experience with API automation tools (RestAssured / Postman). Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitLab). Experience with Git-based version control.
• Mobile Automation Develop and maintain Appium automation framework for Android and iOS applications.
• Execute UI automation scripts on real devices, emulators, and cloud platforms like BrowserStack / Sauce Labs.
• Work closely with developers to understand mobile architecture, APIs, deep linking, gestures, performance considerations, etc. Automate native, hybrid, and mobile web applications. Web & API Automation Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium / Playwright / Cypress. Automate REST APIs using Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• General QA Responsibilities Create detailed test plans, test cases, and automation strategies. Execute test suites, analyze failures, report defects, and track closure. Perform regression testing and help improve release quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
