AVP- IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security

Head of IT Infrastructure and Cyber security leads the strategy, design, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's technology systems, including servers, networks, data centres, and cloud platforms. A senior-level executive responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing an organization's information, cyber, and technology security strategy to protect assets and manage risks.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Develop infrastructure roadmaps aligned with organizational goals, overseeing cloud migrations, network upgrades, and disaster recovery. Establish a comprehensive security strategy and roadmap to safeguard data, applications, and infrastructure.
• Operational Management: Oversee 24/7 technical operations, ensuring high availability (SLAs) for servers, data centres, and networks.
• Team Leadership: Manage infrastructure staff, fostering professional development, and promoting technical expertise.
• Vendor & Budget Management: Manage IT budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee hardware/software procurement.
• Risk Management: Identify, analyse, and mitigate cyber risks, ensuring the organization’s risk posture is managed effectively.
• Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
• Security Operations: Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and manage security technologies like firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
• Policy Enforcement: Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Leadership & Communication: Act as a liaison between the security department and the C-suite/Board of Directors regarding risk posture and security investments

• At least 4 certifications- CISM, CISSP, PMP, ITIL CISA, ISO and Other cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, etc)
• B.E/BTech is a must have. Masters (MCA/MBA) is preferred.
• Experience as a CISO / CIO / VP Digital Transformation or equivalent position in a global environment. Experience managing large-scale systems, teams, and budgets
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cloud computing (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), virtualization, and data centre management.
