About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff iOS Engineer to join our dynamic software development team in Toronto, Ontario. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for motivating, managing, and inspiring a team of talented software engineers to deliver innovative mobile solutions. You will participate actively in hands-on development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the technical direction of our iOS applications, including features like Credit Keeper, Personal Information Management, and Quick Check, which empower our customers to take control of their credit profiles.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in any field and have at least 6 years of extensive experience in native iOS application development using Swift and SwiftUI. You should have a strong background in application design, technical architecture, and full-cycle development. Proven experience in leading and mentoring junior and intermediate developers, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, is essential. Preferred qualifications include over 8 years of experience in software development, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, and experience working within agile environments and open-source frameworks.

- Own and lead the delivery of major components and platform needs, collaborating closely with senior engineers and architects to ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Work as a key member of a dynamic mobile development team throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
- Enhance software engineering practices by designing, developing, testing, and supporting technical solutions across a broad spectrum of development tools and technologies.
- Provide technical expertise on how emerging technologies impact the domain, ensuring our applications remain innovative and competitive.
- Mentor and guide junior, intermediate, and senior mobile developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
