We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Triangle Analytics team, being accountable for providing critical CTC Triangle offer performance insights for the organization and enable business teams to make effective operational decisions on weekly digital marketing campaigns including Loyalty Customer 1-1 Offers as well as Offer Swaps. We also manage the performance measurement of key strategic initiatives through Triangle and Partnership Scorecards. This is a high-visibility role that often supports the Senior Executive team and engages frequently with groups across the organization such as Finance, Merchandising, and other Marketing teams.

What You'll Do

As a key member of the Triangle Analytics team, you will work with data engineers, data scientists, and product managers to analyze and interpret data, develop metrics to measure results, and integrate new methodologies into existing processes.

  • With an “automate first” mindset, you have the skills and abilities to formulate actionable insights for business stakeholders and to synthesize information across a broad ecosystem to enable data-driven decision making. You are a team player with strong communication skills and with a collaborative spirit. You are able to network on all levels of the organization and have a genuine curiosity that grows your understanding of projects.
  • Be responsible for prototyping, building, and managing key data pipeline processes that fuel various Loyalty Customer reports and tools.
  • Solve non-routine analysis problems while applying advanced analytical methods as needed.
  • Provide key commentary on customer interactions across various media channels through effective presentation of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of CTC’s Loyalty Customer data structures and metrics while advocating for change where needed.
  • Design intuitive dashboards to translate complex customer data into actionable insights across the organization.

What You Bring

  • B.S. degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in the data analysis domain.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL to perform complex data analysis.
  • Intermediate knowledge of a programming language to transform and process data (Python, R, SAS, etc.).
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Data intelligence and visualization platforms such as Looker, Google Data Studio, Tableau or similar tools.
  • Balance of technical and business acumen allowing for modeling business cases and proffering strategic recommendations.
  • M.S. degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science. (Asset)
  • Experience with statistical data analysis such as linear models, hypothesis testing, and sampling methods. (Asset)
  • Demonstrated leadership and self-direction with willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques. (Asset)

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000.00 and $106,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
