Platform Partner Engineer (Gaming)

Morgan McKinley is hiring a Platform Partner Engineer for a 9 months contract with a potential to go perm.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external game studio developers to accelerate game creation and integration onto various platforms.
• Work with internal engineers to provide feedback and guidance to improve the product roadmap.
• Optimize various game systems to achieve top-tier performance across all supported platforms.
• Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, specifications, development, testing, product release, and ongoing support.
• Assist in launching successful titles on a platform by improving code quality and stability across multiple games.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with 5-7 years of game development experience.
• Relevant experience in optimize systems for top performance across multiple platforms.
• Skilled in Prompt Engineering, AI skill creation, C#, and component-based architecture.
• Capable of working independently, multi-tasking, and adapting in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code; experienced across all product development phases.
• Preferred: Unity expertise, experience with current gaming platforms, and familiarity with version control and build systems.
