About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing, well-funded technology start up who are developing advanced data platforms for large, global organisations. They focus on solving complex data challenges at scale, using modern technologies to drive meaningful business outcomes.

The Role

They are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to help design, build, and scale core backend systems. This role involves working on high-performance APIs and distributed data processing systems that support critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data ingestion and processing services
• Develop and maintain high-performance, low-latency APIs
• Take ownership of features from concept through to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions
• Continuously improve system reliability, scalability, and performance

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience in cloud environments (They use Azure)
• Solid object-oriented programming skills (.NET experience beneficial)
• Understanding of software design principles such as SOLID and Clean Architecture
• Experience building and scaling distributed systems
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable code

The company have an office in near London Bridge and get together for the first week of the month, then are more remote/hybrid for the rest of the month depending on the employee's preference.
