The Role :

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to play a key role in shaping and delivering modern front-office trading applications within a growing engineering team.

In this position, you will lead the design and development of high-performance, real-time web interfaces used by traders and clients. You’ll be responsible for defining front-end architecture, making key technical decisions, and ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of applications operating in highly dynamic market environments.

Working closely with backend engineers, designers, and product stakeholders, you will drive best practices across the front-end ecosystem, including component design, state management, performance optimisation, and real-time data handling. You’ll also play an active role in influencing system-wide architecture, ensuring seamless integration with distributed backend services.

This role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to mentor other engineers, contribute to technical strategy, and establish standards for clean, maintainable, and testable code. You’ll be working on systems that are critical to global financial markets, requiring both technical excellence and a strong focus on user experience.

We are looking for someone who combines deep front-end expertise with a strong architectural mindset, and who is passionate about building robust, scalable systems while driving continuous improvement across the engineering team.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience working with JavaScript in a professional environment.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Strong understanding of front-end fundamentals, including component-based architecture, state management, and performance considerations.
• Some exposure to a backend language such as C#, Java, Python, or C++ is beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
