AWS DevOps Engineer | £400 - £500
We're working with a leading enterprise service provider on this exciting opportunity. We are seeking a high-caliber engineer to drive innovation across a diverse portfolio of high-traffic services, placing system stability and cutting-edge cloud architecture at the forefront of their mission.
As a hands-on AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be the architect of world-class cloud infrastructure, leveraging high-level automation and containerization to optimize performance. You’ll be instrumental in designing scalable environments using Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), and advanced CI/CD workflows within Azure DevOps.
The Role

As a hands-on AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be the architect of world-class cloud infrastructure, leveraging high-level automation and containerization to optimize performance. You’ll be instrumental in designing scalable environments using Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), and advanced CI/CD workflows within Azure DevOps.
The Role
- Manage and optimize complex cloud infrastructure within AWS, ensuring maximum availability and security.
- Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline code deployment across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and scale containerized solutions via Kubernetes, EKS, and Docker.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to automate environment provisioning.
- Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus and Grafana, driving proactive incident resolution.
- Deep technical expertise in AWS cloud-native technologies and serverless architectures.
- Extensive experience with container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes, EKS, Helm Charts, and Linkerd.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Proven background in networking and security protocols including VPC, Nginx, and AWS WAF.
- Experience managing diverse database technologies such as DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift, and SQL within a Linux/Unix environment.
- Competitive daily rate of £400 - £500 (Inside IR35).
