CO-architecture is a platform and community connecting people across the built environment. We help architects, designers, and industry professionals share work, opportunities, and ideas -making the industry more visible, accessible, and collaborative.
We’re building tools that bring together projects, people, and opportunities in one place, and we’re just getting started.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a full-time Developer who is deeply grounded in traditional coding, but also comfortable working across emerging ways of building - AI-assisted workflows and no-code tools.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership, working closely across product and design from idea through to delivery. You’ll be responsible for building and evolving the platform, while also helping shape how we approach development as a team.
This role goes beyond writing code. You’ll move between structured engineering and rapid experimentation knowing when to go deep, and when to move fast using tools like Claude or no-code platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core product features across the platform, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
- Work across the full product lifecycle - from early ideas and prototyping through to production and iteration
- Collaborate closely with design and product to shape, refine, and deliver features end-to-end
- Use AI-assisted workflows (e.g. Claude) to accelerate development, testing, and iteration
- Experiment with no-code and low-code tools where appropriate to move quickly and validate ideas
- Contribute to technical decisions, architecture, and how we structure our codebase and systems
- Continuously improve development workflows, tooling, and processes as we evolve
- Take ownership of smaller features and improvements, shipping quickly and closing feedback loops
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in traditional development (this is essential)
- Ability to work across frontend and backend (or willingness to expand into full-stack)
- Comfortable using AI-assisted tools like Claude, or a strong willingness to learn
- Curiosity about no-code / low-code tools and how they can complement development
- Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable with ambiguity and an evolving product and process
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
