Your new company:

A Federal Government client delivering nationally significant climate, environmental and data services is seeking two Senior Full Stack Developers to support the ongoing development of a critical climate data management platform. This organisation works closely with international partners and plays a key role in improving climate and ocean resilience across the Pacific region.

Your New Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will join a small, highly skilled technical team responsible for the development, enhancement and maintenance of a large‑scale web‑based data management system used by both domestic and international stakeholders.

You will work across the full technology stack, contributing to application development, system deployments and cloud solutions. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, supporting system implementations in partner countries, and delivering training to IT administrators with varying levels of technical expertise. Occasional short‑term international travel to Pacific Island nations is required.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong commercial experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Hands‑on experience with Python, HTML/PHP, JavaScript
• Strong experience working with PostgreSQL databases
• Solid background in Linux (Ubuntu) environments
• Experience deploying and supporting applications on AWS
• Exposure to web and open‑source technologies including Apache, Bootstrap, Leaflet and Highcharts
• Experience producing technical documentation and training material
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with local and international stakeholders
• Availability to travel internationally for short periods (3–10 days)
