Lead iOS Developer

Responsibilities

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver robust mobile solutions
• Guide the app development process from initial concept through deployment
• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code for iOS platforms
• Refactor and review code to enhance clarity and performance
• Lead code reviews and offer constructive feedback to team members
• Evaluate and improve app performance for speed and responsiveness
• Diagnose and resolve bugs and technical challenges
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Connect mobile applications with backend services and APIs
• Keep current with emerging trends and technologies in iOS development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in iOS app development
• At least one year in a leadership or team management role
• Expertise in building, maintaining, and optimizing iOS applications
• Experience with build tools including Tuist, xcodebuild, and Circle CI
• Knowledge of continuous integration practices and patterns
• Strong skills in debugging and resolving issues
• Familiarity with functional programming concepts in Swift
• Ability to assess and enhance app performance
• Experience working with Objective-C legacy code and integrating with established backend systems
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining unit and integration tests
• Experience with open source projects, either as a contributor or user
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a globally distributed team
• Self-driven with excellent time management abilities
• Creative approach to solving open-ended technical problems
• English proficiency (written and spoken) at B2+ level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions for automating CI/CD workflows
• Understanding of MVVM architecture for scalable app design
• Familiarity with REST API integration for mobile solutions
• Proficiency with UIKit for user interface development
• Experience with XCTest and XCUITest for automated testing
