Lead iOS Developer

We are seeking a Lead iOS Developer to guide development of payment-focused iOS apps used by millions of cardholders worldwide with high standards for reliability and UX. You will lead coding, reviews, CI, testing, and performance improvements across Swift and Objective-C in a global team—apply today.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust mobile solutions
• Oversee the development flow from initial concept through deployment
• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient iOS code
• Review and refactor code to improve readability and performance
• Lead code reviews and give constructive feedback to team members
• Analyze and improve app performance for responsiveness and speed
• Debug issues and resolve bugs and technical challenges
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs
• Keep up with emerging iOS trends and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on iOS app development experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or team management role
• Expert ability to build, maintain, and optimize iOS applications
• Hands-on experience with Tuist, xcodebuild, and Circle CI
• Knowledge of continuous integration practices and patterns
• Strong debugging skills and ability to resolve complex issues
• Familiarity with functional programming concepts in Swift
• Ability to assess performance and apply optimizations
• Experience with Objective-C legacy code and integration with established backend systems
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests
• Experience with open source projects as a contributor or user
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a globally distributed team
• Self-driven approach with excellent time management
• Creative thinking for open-ended technical problem solving
• English proficiency (written and spoken) at B2+ level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions to automate CI/CD workflows
• Understanding of MVVM architecture for scalable app design
• Familiarity with REST API integration for mobile solutions
• Proficiency with UIKit for user interface development
• Experience with XCTest and XCUITest for automated testing
