Lead iOS Developer

We are hiring a Lead iOS Developer to lead the creation of iOS applications relied on by millions of payment cardholders globally with a strong UX mindset. You will steer implementation, code quality, CI, and performance, and coordinate with a distributed team working in Swift and Objective-C—apply now.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver dependable mobile solutions
• Manage delivery from early concept to production deployment
• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable iOS codebases
• Refactor code and perform reviews to improve clarity and performance
• Facilitate code reviews and provide constructive guidance to team members
• Tune performance to improve responsiveness and speed
• Identify root causes of defects and resolve technical issues
• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests for quality assurance
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs
• Track new iOS technologies and recommend adoption when valuable

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on iOS application development experience
• At least 1 year of leadership or team management experience
• Expertise in building, maintaining, and optimizing iOS applications
• Experience using Tuist, xcodebuild, and Circle CI
• Strong understanding of continuous integration practices and patterns
• Excellent debugging capability and issue-resolution skills
• Familiarity with functional programming concepts in Swift
• Ability to evaluate app performance and implement improvements
• Experience with Objective-C legacy code and integration with established backend systems
• Proficiency in unit and integration test development and maintenance
• Open source project experience as a contributor or user
• Ability to collaborate effectively across a globally distributed team
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills
• Creative mindset for solving open-ended technical problems
• English proficiency (written and spoken) at B2+ level or higher

• GitHub Actions knowledge for automating CI/CD workflows
• MVVM architecture understanding for scalable app design
• REST API integration familiarity for mobile solutions
• UIKit experience for building iOS user interfaces
• XCTest and XCUITest proficiency for automated testing
