AI Solutions Engineer

Remitee, a rapidly expanding fintech company specializing in international payments, is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join its Data & AI Team.

We are looking for a highly autonomous builder — someone who can take an ambiguous operational problem, design the solution end-to-end, and implement AI-driven or automated systems that improve efficiency across the company.

This role focuses on identifying opportunities to optimize internal processes using AI, agents, automation, and system integrations, and building production-ready solutions that scale across teams.

This is not a research role. We value engineers who can translate real operational problems into practical AI systems and deliver them into production.

This role sits at the intersection of AI, data, and operations, with the goal of applying AI across the company to multiply operational efficiency.

In addition to building production systems, this role will also help drive AI exploration inside the company, continuously evaluating new capabilities in AI agents and identifying practical opportunities to apply them.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end implementation of AI solutions, from problem discovery to production deployment.

Work with operational, technology and business teams (Ops, Finance, Compliance, CX, Commercial, etc.) to identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI and automation.

Design and implement systems such as:

• AI agents
• internal AI copilots
• automated operational workflows
• operational tooling powered by AI
• Build robust systems that integrate with existing data platforms, APIs, and internal tools.
• Ensure production-grade quality through testing, monitoring, observability, and documentation.
• Continuously evaluate new developments in AI and identify practical ways to apply them inside the company.
  
  
  

Stay up to date with the latest developments in:

• AI agents and agent architectures
• tool-use frameworks and AI integrations
• LLM capabilities and emerging models
• automation patterns and AI-native workflows
  
  
  

Must have:

• Strong Python skills.
• Experience working with LLM APIs and building AI agents or agent-based systems. (Don’t worry — we’re not expecting five years of experience here :D )
• Ability to independently design and implement end-to-end technical solutions.
• Curiosity about new AI capabilities and motivation to experiment with new tools and approaches.
• Experience working with workflow orchestration or automation platforms.
• Experience with agent tool integration frameworks such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar approaches
