CSA Engineer

The Data Center CSA Engineer is responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) packages on mission-critical data center projects. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, the CSA Engineer ensures that all works are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

• Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and technical submittals for CSA scope.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and client representatives to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, industry standards, and project specifications.
• Support value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and constructability.

Project Delivery

• Manage and oversee CSA works on-site, ensuring alignment with project schedules and milestones.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to project management teams.
• Ensure quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes are implemented and maintained.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of building systems.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
• Ensure all works comply with environmental and sustainability standards.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings, including design reviews and progress updates.
• Support procurement processes, including evaluation of subcontractors and suppliers.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
• Track and manage CSA-related issues, risks, and actions.
• Prepare handover documentation and support commissioning activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 3–10+ years of experience in construction or engineering, preferably within data center or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of CSA systems in high-specification environments.
• Experience working with contractors or engineering firms on large-scale projects.
