We are now looking for a Senior Product Designer – Sports Betting to join our team and help shape the future of our betting products.

In this role, you will design end to end sports betting experiences across our platforms. You will work on key journeys such as sports discovery, event pages, odds interaction, bet building, betslip flows, and live betting experiences. Your work will directly influence how customers place bets, follow live events, and interact with our products in high intensity, real time moments.

You will collaborate closely with product designers, researchers, product owners, developers, and trading teams to create user centered solutions that balance customer needs, business goals, and the fast paced nature of sports betting.

We are looking for someone who understands the complexity of betting products and can translate it into intuitive, engaging, and high performing user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end design for key features, from concept to delivery.
• Deliver high-quality user flows, concepts, prototypes, and design documentation.
• Facilitate design workshops and collaborate with cross functional teams to shape product direction. Mentor junior designers and review work to ensure quality.
• Balance user needs with business goals in all design decisions.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product and UX design, including a minimum of 3 years shaping Sportsbook experiences, with hands-on experience mentoring and growing design teams
• Strong experience designing complex B2C digital products with a mobile-first mindset
• Expert knowledge of Figma, including advanced component systems, auto layout, and design libraries
• Strong skills in UX architecture, interaction design, and UI design
• Experience designing cross-platform products, including native iOS, native Android, mobile web, and desktop web
• Ability to clearly communicate design rationale and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
• Experience working with real-time or data-heavy products is highly valued
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field

The position is located at Veikkaus’ headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. We work in a flexible hybrid model, and the role can also be performed remotely from Malta or Stockholm/Sweden. The position is permanent and full time.
